My working clothes

Most people put their best clothes on AFTER work. There again, most people aren't famous pop stars like Kim Wilde. Everything she wears has to be carefully chosen in case it ends up in a press picture or a video. Just recently she's started to work with designer Annie LaPaz: "I've got a lot of confidence in her which is good because I just give her my measurements and leave it up to her." Bev Hillier caught Kim modelling a few of Annie's latest creations.

1. "I just love this outfit, it's my fave. It's so easy to wear, very casual. I'd wear this for working during the day. I love the bright colours, padded shoulders, the Superman patch and also the stripes down the sides of the trousers; they're very slimming."

2. "This dress photographs great and is really comfortable to wear but I didn't feel at one with it. I've given it back to Annie. I like the material, the clashing colours and the striped baseball image but personally I prefer to keep my legs covered."

3. "I was really surprised when I put this evening dress on because it's a colour that I never normally wear but I thought it suited me. I love crushed velvet so I've kept this one. I'd wear this if I was going out for dinner or to an awards evening... that's if I ever receive any."
