High-flying pop star Kim Wilde jetted to America on cloud nine yesterday, on learning that her new song is rocketing up the U.S. charts. Americans are so wild about Kim, they have sent her record You Keep Me Hanging On to number four.
As she boarded her Los Angeles flight at Heathrow: Kim said: “I’m thrilled. I will be out there doing a couple of shows and promoting the song. Then I go to Toronto for more of the same.”
Kim returns in a week to start her next album.
