I hope that’s one of mine your playing… singer Kim Wilde gets a look at the flip side of the music business at Bowes Lyon House, Stevenage.
Kim popped in on Monday night for a chat and get together with young people at the youth club, and mingled with about 60 young visitors. The blonde star, who has had hits like You Keep Me Hangin’ On, Kids in America and View from a Bridge, then took a look at the roller disco – and took a hand at the deck.
The visit was part of a 24-club tour Kim is doing in Herts to see youth clubs in action and meet members, leaders and staff. Her tour has taken her to Hoddesdon, Waltham Cross, Wheathampstead and St Albans so far in a promotion exercise to boost youth clubs.
