Brat pack’s rave-up

A supergroup of drunken pop stars landed in deep trouble when they launched a rowdy sing-song at a top hotel. The brat pack included Rick Astley, Kim Wilde, Simon Climie and Rob Fisher. Furious guests at the swish Hilton in Munich complained to the management that the small-hours bash was keeping them awake. It broke up when the group was threatened with the police and the place plunged into darkness.

Singer Simon Climie, 27 – in the charts with Love Changes (Everything) – admitted last night: “It was only a lark but the Germans took it much too seriously. It started with Rob and me playing the piano. Kim joined in, then Rick. Rick was chucking ice-cubes all over the place and singing rude lyrics. We were just letting off steam after an exhausting German TV show.”
