It is a cliche, yes, but you really don’t realise how many hits an artist has until you listen to their greatest hits collection and recognise almost every track on it. The same applies to Kim Wilde who came to prominence with Kids in America early last decade.
The hits continued with Cambodia, Child Come Away, Chequered Love and Keep Me Hangin’ On. Some of Kim’s later hits such as Love is Holy are also included although, strangely, A Million Miles Away isn’t.
The album will be supported by a “greatest hits” tour early next year.
