Torrid teens on the rampage

Just when your parents thought it was safe to extract the earplugs… the ’94 tour schedule reads like a who’s who of the charts.

Frontier Touring presents a new series of gigs under the umbrella Teenage Rampage. Kim Wilde’s all-ages show is at Australia’s Wonderland on February 26. East 17 with Teenage Rampage is at the Hordern Pavillion on March 18.

One of the world’s biggest-selling acts, Michael Bolton, brings his One Thing worl tour for two concerts at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on February 23 and 25. On the same day, Bob Geldof kicks off with his band the Happy Clubsters.

Guns ‘N’ Roses bass player Duff McKagan, with a debut solo album Believe In Me, has formed his own band to hit the stage at Selinas on February 22.

The Man in Black, Johnny Cash, hits town with Kris Kristofferson at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on February 18.

Former Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford is bringing his new band Fight to Australia next month and will play Selinas on March 1.

The Hoodoo Gurus on their Crank tour hits the Hordern Pavillion on April 15 with Redd Kross and You Am I.

Peter Gabriel’s Secret World has one gig only, at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on March 1.

Depeche Mode’s Devotional tour is at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on March 12.

The Baby Animals’ God Shave The Queen gigs are at the State Theatre – on March 13 and 14.

Jethro Tull’s 25th anniversary tour begins on March 4 at the State Theatre.

John Farnham’s Talk of the Town tour will probably be his last. The 34-date tour features live dates at the Sydney Entertainment Centre from March 3.

Searing thrash rockers Nine Incn Nails are also confirmed to tour next month, at Selinas. And of course Mr Copacabana himself, Barry Manilow, is at the Ent Cent on May 16.
