Pop star-turned-horticulturist Kim Wilde, who is one of the designers on Carol Vorderman's latest makeover challenge Better Gardens, Sun ITV, says: 'My interest in gardening started as a hobby but then turned into a passion. And this time next year, I hope to be self-sufficient in vegetables too.'
