Review – The very best of Kim Wilde

‘We’re the kids in America, woah-oh…’ and so on. Kim Wilde, with a song written by her brother and Dad, came up with one of the best singles of the 1980s. ‘Chequered love’, ‘View from a bridge’, ‘Love blonde’ and the moodiness of ‘Cambodia’ weren’t too shabby either.

The blonde Wilde child also pitches up a couple of classy covers in ‘You keep me hanging on’ and ‘If I can’t have you’, which means at least half of this ‘Best of’ album is worth having.
