Eighties popstar turned gardening expert Kim Wilde went into a recording studio for learndirect to talk to stations across the country about how she turned her hobby into a successful job.
Kim was enlisted recently as part of an ongoing learndirect national learning advice line campaign to get listeners thinking about what they can achieve and how, by seeking careers information, advice and guidance from learndirect.
Kim was joined by learndirect adviser Andrij Slobodian for the day to take part in a series of down-the-line interviews with 16 radio stations nationwide.
Having turned her passion for gardening into a full-time job, Kim was able to explain how she enrolled on a garden design course and understands the value of learning.
