Former popstar, turned gardening celebrity, Kim Wilde has become the face of the UK’s biggest garden centre chain. Kim will be appearing on TV and writing columns in newspapers for Wyevale Garden Centres. She will also visit garden centres throughout the country.
“I am thrilled to be the face of Wyevale,” said villager Kim, who is a qualified and experienced gardener. “I’m looking forward to sharing my passion for gardening as well as giving away some of my personal tips.”
Kim has previously appeared as a gardening expert on such shows as This Morning and Better Gardens. Her book Gardening for Children is due to be published next Spring.
As Wyevale Garden Centres have been refurbished over the last two years Kim has been re-opening them. “Their relationship has grown organically from there,” said Kim’s agent Nick Boyle. “We hope this will be a long-term partnership.”
