Eighties pop princess turned green-fingered gardener Kim Wilde was the guest at Keswick School’s prize-giving.
She presented pupils with accolades in recognition of their academic achievements at a ceremony on Friday.
Kim is the daughter-in-law of Bob Fowler, chairman of governors at Keswick School.
Pupil Laura Mason, 17, helped Kim read the poem If by Rudyard Kipling while 16-year-old Allix Atherton sang her favourite song, My Funny Valentine.
