Kim Wilde interview in Freundin Donna

December 11, 2011 - The January 2012 issue of the German magazine Freundin Donna features a ten page article about Kim Wilde.

The interview and photo session took place in Berlin in September. The January 2012 issue of Freundin Donna was released on December 7 and is available in German shops now.

November 16, 2011 - An interview with Kim Wilde appeared in today's edition of the UK newspaper The Sun.

The interview by Betty Brisk was published in the newspaper as well as on the website of The Sun. You can find the interview here.

The article is part of a promotional campaign for Kim's tour with Roy Wood and Status Quo all over the UK next month.

German book featuring Kim Wilde out now

October 8, 2011 - In Germany the book 'Never get old?' was published earlier this week. It features interviews with several artists about getting older in the music business.

Jörn Morisse and Oliver Koch interviewed, amongst others, Edwyn Collins, Gloria Gaynor, Marian Gold (from Alphaville) and Kim. The interview with Kim took place during her tour in March 2011. In it, Kim says: 'I don't think about my age and the process of getting older very much. (...) The fact that I go on stage tonight and can perform in front of many people who want to see me, is truly the best that I can imagine doing at this age.'

Read Kim's 1988 tour diary

July 16, 2011 - Wilde Life continues to add articles to its enormous archive of Kim Wilde articles from newspapers and magazines from the past. A recent addition is a tour diary from 1988.

In the summer of 1988, Kim appeared as Michael Jackson's special guest during the King of Pop's 'Bad' tour. It was a much publicized tour, but there are not so many articles written by Kim herself.

Wilde Life today added an article from Just Seventeen, published in the August 10, 1988 issue. It's a diary from Monday, July 4 to Sunday, July 10, 1988. You can read the article here.

Kim writes Tweet of the week

June 17, 2011 - The local newspaper Welwyn & Hatfield Times publishes a 'Tweet of the week' every week. This time, the honour has gone to Kim Wilde.

Kim has started 'tweeting' in August last year, and this is the first time one of her tweets has been quoted in a newspaper. She made yesterday's Welwyn & Hatfield Times with a tweet about her garden, which she wrote on June 13: 'Have just strapped a fake owl to the fence post to scare off those pesky rabbits. Haha,that'll fool em'.

Kim was notified of winning the title yesterday, after which she responded: 'Hilarious!'.

Kim Wilde in Jukebox Magazine

April 14, 2011 - The May issue of the French Jukebox Magazine features a one page article about Kim Wilde. It is an interview with Kim, recorded during her tour in Germany.

Jukebox Magazine is best described as the French version of the UK magazine 'Record Collector'. The article was written by longstanding Kim Wilde fan Franck Cizaire.

Kim Wilde in Modzik magazine

April 3, 2011 - The current issue of the French fashion & music magazine Modzik features an interview with Kim Wilde - including some beautiful new photographs.

The photographs were taken by Philipp Mueller, and some of his work with Kim is showcase on this website. The six page article in Modzik features two of these photographs plus one not shown on the website.

The magazine is apparently already hard to find in France, but Wilde Life obviously has an English translation of the article for you, including the photographs. You can read the article here.

April 1, 2011 - Kim Wilde will release a special audiobook this year in the UK, based around the stories of Princess Lillifee.

Monike Finsterbusch created the magical world of Princess Lillifee, today already known by 96% of German-speaking girls aged between 4 and 8 years. The books deal with typical girls' subjects such as friendship, helping each other, animals and nature. Books are made of glittering pages and precious covers turning each book into something unique.

Kim Wilde and Laurent Voulzy in Paris Match

February 17, 2011 - The French magazine Paris Match reunited Kim Wilde and Laurent Voulzy two weeks ago, for an article that was released in today's edition.

In the interview, they tell more about the creation of Laurent's hit 'Les nuits sans Kim Wilde' 25 years ago and how their relationship evolved since then. Laurent reveals that the pinball featured in the music video actually still exists and is standing in his studio! This and more can be read in the article.
