Fan remixes of 'Jessica' and 'Get out'

June 2, 2011 - Two Kim Wilde fans have created remixes of tracks from Kim Wilde's most recent album, 'Come out and play'. 'Jessica' and 'Get out' have gotten the remix treatment.

The remixes were made as part of a competition on a Kim Wilde forum. The object was to create a remix or mashup and an accompanying video, without using too much rhythm effects.

Kim receives poster with birthday greetings

November 30, 2010 - Last night, before a concert in Mainz (Germany), Kim Wilde was presented with a poster featuring birthday wishes from fans.

The birthday wishes were written by fans on November 18 on the occasion of Kim Wilde's 50th birthday via the website of Kim's tour promotors (see the original news item here). The result was an attractive pdf file, which could be downloaded from the same website for a limited period (you can still download it here).

November 12, 2010 - How time flies! Kim Wilde will celebrate her 50th birthday on November 18. You can take the opportunity to prepare a very special gift for Kim.

Kim’s tour promoters have come up with something very special. Get your Kim Wilde autograph online!

October 23, 2010 - The German ticket selling website Eventim is hosting a special online signing session. In three days from now, on October 26, you can get an online autograph from Kim.

The online signing session starts at 5pm Berlin time on October 26 on the Eventim website. Before the session starts, you can subscribe to get an e-mail at the start of it on this page. Simply fill in your e-mail address in the black box where it says 'Autogrammalarm: Ich möchte erinnert werden, wenn es soweit ist!'

So what does an online autograph look like? Well I guess you'll have to wait and see this Tuesday, wont you?

Last call for Kim Wilde tribute video

October 3, 2010 - On the occasion of Kim's 50th birthday later this year, a group of fans is creating a tribute video for her. This is one last call for entries.

The idea is to create a video of fans miming to Kim's hit single 'You came', preferably in the 2006 version. Each fan creates their own video, which are then edited together by Wilde Life. It's a truly international effort!

So far, a handful of videos has been sent in for this tribute. You can still participate, as the deadline for submissions is November 1, 2010. For details on how to send in your own video, please send a message via Wilde Life's Contact page, filling in the subject 'Tribute video'.

Fans create a tribute video for Kim

February 22, 2010 - On the occasion of Kim's 50th birthday later this year, a group of fans is creating a tribute video for her. The effort is coordinated by Wilde Life.

The idea took shape on Wilde Life's forum, where fans have an opportunity to discuss all things Kim-related.

The idea is to create a video of fans miming to Kim's hit single 'You came'. It was inspired by the recent 'lip dub' video created by students from Lawrence High School. In this case, each fan creates their own video, which is then edited together by Wilde Life. It's a truly international effort!

According to the voters, the singles taken from the album were not necessarily the best tracks from the album. The ballad 'Stay awhile' won the vote, followed by 'Sing it out for love' and 'House of Salome'.
