Art on ice 2011 featuring Kim Wilde

October 14, 2010 - On February 18, 2011, Kim Wilde will be the musical guest during the Art on Ice spectacle in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

It's a reunion of sorts, since Kim starred in Art on Ice once before: five dates in Zurich and Lausanne in January and February 2008.

Kim Wilde live in France

January 3, 2012 - Kim Wilde will perform live in France in May. She will appear as the headlining act of a six hour concert in the Northeast of France.

The special festival will also feature the tribute acts 'Abba for ever' and 'Tribute to Boney M'. The event takes place on May 12 in Dossenheim zur Zinsel, located here. Tickets cost 49 euro.

Rewind Australia cancelled

October 17, 2011 - The Australian Rewind Festival, which was due to take place on October 29 & 30, has been cancelled by the local promoter. As a result, Kim Wilde won't be visiting Australia as planned.

There was a certain amount of confusion surrounding the Australian Rewind Festival recently. Originally scheduled to be staged at the Blue Scope Fields in Kembla Grange near Wollongong as a two-day camping festival, the festival was moved to Sydney's Hordern Pavilion. A few of the acts such as Human League, Kool and the Gang, Sister Sledge and Candi Staton were cancelled as well.

May 11, 2011 - Kim Wilde will be one of the guest vocalists during the 'Music of Quality and Distinction' concert at London's prestigious Roundhouse on October 15.

Following the success of Heaven 17's ‘Penthouse and Pavement 30th Anniversary Tour' in 2010, Martyn Ware's production project, ‘British Electric Foundation' (B.E.F.) is proud to present ‘Music of Quality and Distinction Live', a 2-day festival on October 14 and 15, celebrating 30 years of seminal electronic music and unique collaborations.

Kim joins Status Quo and Roy Wood on UK tour

May 7, 2011 - The rock band Status Quo are doing their first arena tour in the UK in years and have asked Kim Wilde to be their special guest. She and Roy Wood will tour with Quo in December.

Status Quo are best known for their hits 'Down down (deeper and down)' and 'What you're proposing' from the Eighties. One of their first hits, 'Ice in the sun' (1968), was actually written by Kim's father Marty. They have consistently been releasing albums since then, and their new album 'Quid pro Quo' is out later this month.

Concert in Sofia cancelled

May 5, 2011 - Kim Wilde's concert in Sofia (Bulgaria) on May 7 has unfortunately been cancelled. This was announced by the promotor last Tuesday.

The concert was scheduled to take place at the National palace of culture in the Bulgarian capital. There's no further information at this point but it will be added here when it becomes available.

Kim Wilde's Proms concert to be shown live!

April 5, 2011 - Kim Wilde's Night of the Proms performance in Kiel (Germany) on April 9 will be broadcast live on YouTube. It's your chance to see the gig from wherever you are!

The Night of the Proms concert will feature Kim as well as John Miles, OMD, Div4s, Freddy Sahin-Scholl, the Il Novecento orchestra and the choir Fine Fleur. It starts at 8pm and is broadcast live on AIDA's YouTube page.

New live dates for Kim Wilde this summer

March 16, 2011 - New live dates over the next few months have been announced recently. Kim Wilde and her band are appearing live in different parts of Europe.

The latest additions to Kim's itinerary are a gig on April 30 in Klagenfurt (Austria) at the Seefest am Wörthersee, with free entry.
On June 10, Kim appears in Halle/Westfalen (Germany) at the Gerry Weber Open tennis tournament. And on July 23, Kim appears at the Amphitheater Hanau Schloss Philippsruhe (Germany).

Kim Wilde live in Hengelo (Netherlands)

February 10, 2011 - The concert hall Metropool, based in the Netherlands, has announced a new live gig by Kim Wilde on June 18.

Kim will appear at Metropool from 8pm. Earlier on the day, Kim appears at the Dutch pop festival Retropop, as was announced a couple of months ago.

Tickets for this new gig, which will be a complete concert with her own band, will be available from the Metropool website.
