In her shows, Kim presented a handful of requests from listeners. There are celebrity song requests from Amanda Holden, Kara Tointon, Bethany Hamilton and Andy Abraham.

Kim Wilde in Dutch Top 2000

December 27, 2011 - Dutch radio station Radio 2 has published its annual Top 2000 of all times. As always, Kim is listed in the chart.

Just like last year, Kim is listed twice. Her duet with Nena, 'Anyplace, anywhere, anytime' has gone down from number 736 to number 795, and the classic single 'Cambodia' went from number 1037 to number 1268.

Kim Wilde on Jack 106 FM

December 22, 2011 - Kim Wilde appeared on the local radio station Jack 106 FM today, talking about her latest album 'Snapshots', the tour with Status Quo and Twitter!

The interview came about after Jack FM contacted Kim via Twitter, so it was no wonder the subject came up. Kim confessed that she had her doubts at first, but now she loves it: 'I've met people, I've set up things, I managed to get some free tickets for a couple of guys who were on Twitter one night saying 'we're a bit drunk and we can't come' and I felt really sorry for them, so I said 'look I'm putting the tickets on the door, sort yourselves out and come' and they did in the end, and it was just great'.

Interview with Kim Wilde on BBC Radio Nottingham

November 12, 2011 - BBC Radio Nottingham's DJ Mark Dennison broadcast an interview with Kim Wilde this morning. He conducted the interview last week.

They spoke about Kim's tour, next month, with Roy Wood and Status Quo, but also about her thriving music career in Germany and her gardening career which is taking a backseat, according to Kim.

Kim Wilde presents Radio 4 Appeal for Ataxia

October 30, 2011 - This morning and this evening, Kim Wilde presents an appeal for Ataxia UK, hoping to raise money for this charity.

In the appeal, which was pre-recorded, Kim tells the story of her childhood friend Ruth Shearman, who was diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia when she was 16, and passed away twenty years later. In the years in between, she suffered from this rare and incurable disease.

October 12, 2011 - Kim Wilde phoned in to the Christian O'Connell Show on Absolute Radio last week, in order to ask for your attention for the charity Ataxia UK.

During his breakfast show on Absolute Radio, Christian O'Connell asked celebrities who were big in the Eighties to phone in for their favourite charity. On October 7, Kim Wilde phoned in and promoted Ataxia UK, which she is the patron of. You can hear that part of the show on this page.

September 11, 2011 - Kim Wilde appeared as the special guest of Glenn Gregory and Martyn Ware during Heaven 17's radio show on Absolute 80's Radio in the UK.

The show, which is broadcast this month between 8 and 9pm on Sunday evenings, features the two members of Heaven 17, a lot of electronic music from the Eighties and every week there's a special guest. Today's guest was Kim Wilde, and she talked about her debut single 'Kids in America' and the concert at the Roundhouse which will happen on October 15. She revealed that she would be singing 'You keep me hangin' on' and 'Ghost in my house', originally performed by R. Dean Taylor and recorded by B.E.F. with Paul Jones in 1982.
