The Twitter account @kimwilde originally started as the news feed for this website. In August 2010, that news feed moved to @kimwildenews and Kim started tweeting herself. Within those 16 months, the amount of followers went from almost 2,000 to 10,000 people. 

Kim will continue to write in on Twitter regularly, of course, so here's to the next 10,000.....!

From August 13, 2010 to December 31, 2010, Kim sent 211 tweets on Twitter, an average of 1,4 tweets per day. That average climbed significantly in 2011, as Kim sent 1619 tweets within the year. That's an average of 4,4 tweets a day! 

On December 30, during the day, Kim rehearsed for her performance on the stage in front of the Brandenburger Tor. On New Year's Eve at 11.37pm it was stage time for her as the live TV show on ZDF was broadcast in many European countries. She sang 'Cambodia' and 'Kids in America' in front of a huge audience assembled on the Straße des 17. Juni.

Kim will embark on her 'Snapshots & Greatest Hits' tour in March, which means that there will be lots of opportunities to see her perform live. Hopefully it will also mean some media attention. Wilde Life will collect all the articles and media appearances as usual. Later in the year, there's no doubt that further live dates will happen throughout Europe.

Kim released two cd's in 2011, the 'Princess Lillifee' cd and the covers album 'Snapshots', so a new album may be too much to ask for. But who knows, perhaps some new music will still see the light of day!

With many live concerts, two new cd's, two compilations, a weekly radio show, many radio and TV performances and some glamorous magazine articles, Kim Wilde has had another very productive year.

Some of them were never published on this website before. For the first time, the photographs are presented as a slideshow, so sit back and relax and look back at a very busy year for Kim Wilde!

Scarlett has been posting Christmas songs throughout this month on her YouTube page. If you've been following this, you will have seen guest stars like her partner Elliott and dad Ricky Wilde. However, today's message was recorded especially together with Kim Wilde to wish you all a very merry Christmas. Since September 2008, Kim Wilde has been presenting 'Secret Songs' on Magic 105.4 FM in the UK. Regular listeners will know that each week she picks a song that has a special significance for her. In three years, that's more than 100 songs handpicked by Kim, with music from artists like Metallica, Aretha Franklin, Henry Gross, Dido and even Britney Spears - pretty much all over the place!

The 'expo', as these online exhibitions are called, celebrates Ricky Wilde from his earliest childhood through his career as a 'weenybopper' (these are the terms they used in the Seventies...) to his writing/producing/performing career from the Eighties until now. Featuring an introduction by Kim Wilde and dozens of photographs from 1961 until now, this exhibition is a present for the birthday boy himself and for all of the Kim Wilde fans who have followed Kim's career, knowing that Rick has always been an irreplaceable part of it.
