Beautiful Kim Wilde is hoping for an extra-special present to celebrate her 21st birthday this week.
It’s the star part in Robert Stigwood’s newest film musical Evita.
The $A18 million production is to be directed by Ken “Let’s be controversial” Russell and he put Kim through her acting and singing paces in a tough screen test.
Russell is said to be delighted with Kim’s showing in the part which shot Elaine Paige to stardom in Britain.
