Review – Love moves

“Love moves” (MCA/WEA) is the title of the seventh LP by British singer Kim Wilde, who started over nine years ago with “Kids in America”. It’s the follow-up to the LP “Closer”, released two years ago, which spawned four hit successes. “It’s here” is the first single from the new record but there’s more hit potential on it. Cool Kim with the beautiful voice may have left the new wave-pop behind for a more disco-inspired sound, it all sounds pleasing to the ear. Kim has started writing her own songs by the way, although brother Ricky and producer Tony Swain (known from a.o. Bananarama) keep holding her hand.
