Review – Love moves

Through the years Kim Wilde has shed the image of the blonde girl who sang simple songs into the charts thanks to father Marty and brother Ricky. On ‘Love moves’ the blonde is still there, just like the simple songs, they were just all written by Kim herself, working together with Ricky and Tony Swain. With her songs Kim shows she has listened well to her family: ‘Love moves’ is a very listenable pop album. Here and there Kim is helped a little by Jaki Graham. ‘It’s here’ is already a hit. Serious single candidates: all the other nine pieces, but especially ‘World in perfect harmony’ and ‘In Hollywood’.
