The idol becomes a friend: dream of all teenagers!
For the singer from Frankfurt Sabrina Winter (37) it has come true: since 20 years she is friends with the eighties icon Kim Wilde (47, ‘Kids in America’).
Soon they will rock together in Nachtleben (Konsti): during the 10th anniversary of Sabrina’s band Stereoblonde.
Sabrina: “I was 13 and wanted to be as great as Kim. I waited at the backstage exit of the Stadthalle in Offenbach, she shook my hand.”
Always, when Kim gave concerts in the vicinity, the beautiful blonde girl travelled there. “I got noticed by Kim, sometimes she smiled at me. When I was 17 and stood outside her hotel, she invited me for a glass of bubbly. From then on we slowly became friends.”
Now they meet in England, Frankfurt and they go shopping and go round the house – like friends!
Kim gave Sabrina tips for her career. In 2007 she went on tour with Kim, as background singer. Now her dream comes true: Kim Wilde rocks at the jubilee concert of Stereoblonde. A worldstar in Nachtleben! October 19, 8pm, entry 9 euro.
