Kim Wilde, the 1980s pop star, has become an internet sensation with a YouTube video in which she treats passengers on a train to a version of festive favourite Rocking Around The Christmas Tree.
Wilde, wearing a pair of comedy reindeer antlers, was filmed singing to passengers – accompanied on guitar by her brother Ricky – as they went home from a Christmas party. “Kim Wilde and Ricky Wilde serenade passengers on the train home after the MagicFM Christmas Party,” Katherine Eames, who uploaded the six-minute video to YouTube, wrote on the website.
The former singer tweeted: “truly,i am overwhelmed and confused at such a huge reaction to my night out on the tiles.Making me giggle a LOT: )”
