Kim Wilde is back. Tomorrow she performs live at Theater aan de Parade in Den Bosch.
Anyplace, anywhere, anytime.
There was a time when the British singer Kim Wilde performed live everywhere and always. Since 1981 she sang her songs into the charts. Kids in America, Cambodia, View from a bridge, You keep me hangin’ on, Four letter word and of course the aforementioned hit with German Nena. Who has followed it all, is like the singer (1960) not the youngest anymore.
And because that time is behind us for a while now, they are pretty proud at Theater aan de Parade in Den Bosch that they managed to get Wilde to perform live again once more. Kim had to get out of the garden for that, because since she toned down her musical career, she has become rather successful as a gardening expert. On BBC she had her own gardening programme and she wrote several books about gardening.
Meanwhile her own kids in England will have left the house, so Wilde can start to tour again. She will also appear in theatres in Bergen op Zoom, Zoetermeer and Heerlen. Before the end of the year she will do a series of Christmas concerts in her own country. In the mean time the re-release of her album Wilde Winter Songbook is announced on her website.
With the winter in sight it’s Dutch singer-songwriter Solof to warm up the room. DJ Leen will play hits from the Eighties in the theatre café after the live performances.
