Eighties singer Kim Wilde believes alien energy has given her special powers to make a pop comeback. The Kids in America star claims she has been re-energised by a magic gift handed to her by extraterrestrials. Kim is adamant a UFO sighting in her back garden has transformed her life. The 57-year-old said: "When you see something extraordinary in your life you can't help but be affected by it. It has actually given me a lot of energy. The whole experience has brought about a lot of positive things to my life. You could look at that as aliens visited my garden. I saw them and I have been energised by that and that was their gift to me. Or you could just say I'm completely bonkers and had too much vino that night and should get a grip of myself... at the end of the day I know what I saw. I hadn't been on the vino and it has changed my life. It wasn't a joke. It did happen."
Kim burst on to the music scene in 1981. She later retired from music to start a family and found a new career in gardening. But Kim's unexplained UFO sighting in 2009 helped to inspire new album Here Comes The Aliens. It is her first set of new material since 1992.
Kim, now a Magic FM DJ, said: "I had lost some confidence which is why it has taken so long to happen. I didn't think people would want to see a Hertfordshire housewife sing but apparently they do."
