Everyone’s Sweetheart

Song written by Kim Wilde and Steve Byrd. This track was never officially released, but a demo version did see the light of day when it was offered on the website KimWildeTV.com for a couple of weeks in 2004.
Muriel Dacq recorded the song later with French lyrics as Ces Moments LĂ .

Lyrics

Everyone knows her but nobody’s there
when she really needs a shoulder
there’s no-one to care
she’s everyone’s sweetheart
but she hasn’t got a man to love

She waits in the morning her hair’s in a mess
Can’t be bothered to put make-up on
she couldn’t care less
She’s everyone’s sweetheart
but she hasn’t got a man to love

Maybe she will just pretend
Someone to long for her kiss
And love her until then it’s…

What’s on the TV there’s nothing to do
Well she’s tired of making dinner for one, never two
She’s everyone’s sweetheart
but she hasn’t got a man
She’s everyone’s sweetheart
but she hasn’t got a man to love
