Six Pack

The Serbian band Six Pack was formed in early 1993 by Branko Mitrovic (guitar), Milan Radojevic (guitar, vocals), Dragan Bojic “Bojke” (guitar), Saša Bogdanovic “Bogda” (vocals), Miloš Novakovic (drums) and Vladimir Cupic “Cupa” (bass), and got the name by the Black Flag song of the same name. The band recorded their first eight-song demo during the late 1994, and released it independently on the compact cassette ‘Berza bez granica’ (Stock without Borders). They recorded their debut album ‘Pretnja ili molitva’ (Threat or Prayer) a year later.

They continued to release albums in the following years. One particularly successful track was a cover version of Culture Club’s ‘Karma Chameleon’. It was released on a compilation album called ‘Back Up The Balkans’ by the Dutch record label C.R.A.S.H.. It was one of the reasons the band was prompted to release an album of cover versions, mainly from the Eighties, called ‘Discover’ In 2008. It features a diverse set of songs including ‘Tarzan Boy’, ‘Stop that train’ and Kim Wilde’s Cambodia.

In 2011 the band followed this album up with ‘Epicentar’, an album of original material, released as a digital download only.
