Hello Harry!

""
September 29, 1998 - French Kim Wilde fans were treated to something very nice this week when they opened up their copy of Télé-loisirs. This television guide featured a small piece about Kim, and a very cute photograph of her and her son Harry.

This is actually the first time that a photograph of baby Harry has seen the light of day. In a way, this is good news, since many fans have been very eager to see Kim's firstborn.

It is less uplifting to know that this picture has been made by a paparazzo once again, since it clearly shows Kim was only visiting an Our Price shop, simply minding her own business.
The words of the article focused once again on Kims weight, which has dropped again according to the expert writing. It is another article in the series of articles which has been published since August this year.

On Monday 17, 1998 the Daily Mail published an article named "Kim puts the Wilde pop days behind her", put together by Daily Mail's Rick Hewett. The following quotes could be read:
Seven months after the birth of her son Harry, the pop star who had a string of hits in the Eighties has turned her back on the sex-kitten image and is content to be seen as a mother. The image transformation was obvious as she shopped near her home in Welwyn, Hertfordshire.

Kim, 38, who married actor Hal Fowler two years ago, is said to be "over the moon" with her son and to have no plans to resume a pop career.

In an attempt to limit the damage done, the very same Daily Mail published an article in their August 21 issue.
The article was quoted by the slightly more serious Daily Telegraph paper on August 22, 1998. In this article, Nick Boyles is quoted saying "We are just putting the finishing touches to a solo album. We had contemplated putting out a single this year, but we are not going to do that. It is not all completely related to the photographs, but it will be easier to do it in the New Year."
Of course, the paper blamed the photographs for a delay in releasing the album. Meanwhile, it has always been apparent that the new material would be released "around the new year", so no actual delay can be spoken of.

I have to assume that the mentioned newspapers needed to fill their pages and thus constructed the poorly researched articles quoted here. I can safely say this site is more informative than these papers.
