New album shelved
June 17, 1999 - It seems that Kim's album will not be released very soon.
Kim Wilde fan Sinisa Belosevic has tried to get some light on the current situation at Universal records by contacting the executive producer of CNN's World Beat, Tim Lister. According to him, "Kim Wilde has recorded her new album and it s ready for release. But MCA/Universal don't appear to want to invest in promoting the new album or the lead-off single at the moment. Recent months have seen massive changes at MCA - many job losses and restructuring... So who knows when we may see the new album"
Fans are getting very impatient at the current state of things and are even suggesting that Kim should release her work by herself. This is probably the start of a debate that is going to continue for a while yet...
