KimWilde.com version 2.0 launched
The site took two months and well over 100 hours to redesign. The new version also includes material from Steve Tinjod's site "Virtual world", which was closed on December 31st, 1999. KimWilde.com was made for and tested with Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher. Netscape users will experience problems viewing this site. Click the button at the left to download Internet Explorer.
Finding your way around the new KimWilde.com will take a little getting used to, after all, so much has changed. The left side of the screen will always display a menu to help you get to different sections. Usually this will be the menu you see right now, with a listing of Home, Omnigraphy, Encyclopedia, Chronology, Articles, Pictures, Sounds and Links. There is one major exception: the Omnigraphy. That section has a separate sub-menu, enabling you to choose between the different subsections of information in that Omnigraphy. However, you will always have the possibility to go Home, to the front page of KimWilde.com.
One thing which always comes in handy is the 'back' function. Your browser will have this key as well, but this one is actually in the screen so you won't have to move your mouse pointer all the way to the upper left corner. This 'back' image works exactly like the 'back' key in your browser, so you can use it freely whenever you need it.
Very important as well is the KimWilde.com logo in your menu. You will find that you can click on this logo. It will reveal some extra information which is not categorized, such as the chat page (forthcoming), information about the Kim Wilde Mailing List, and much more.
Once you've explored KimWilde.com version 2.0 and all its new additions, I'd be happy to hear from you. Tell me what you think of the site, and if you've got any ideas to make it even better. A website is never complete, and in the coming weeks some final editing will be done to seal off any gaps which may have appeared while updating this site. So please keep checking back!
