You Came most loved song by fans
December 26, 2000 - The KimWilde.com chart has been running for almost a quarter of a year now, and already the first year's end chart has been compiled. It's obvious that this chart gives a reasonably good insight to what visitors of this site like to listen to.
In this chart, You came has become the no. 1. This may not be a surprise: out of all the no. 1's the KimWilde.com Top 25 has had in the past 11 weeks, You Came made it to no. 1 three times.
What is surprising however, is the popularity of Kim's singles. The first album track appears on no. 13 in the top 50 over 2000, while less than half of the chart is filled by album tracks. And even then, most of those have been B-sides of singles! It suggests that MCA and EMI have been very right to choose the singles they did. Or is it the other way around: are singles tracks more popular because they were singles?
