"Kids in America" cover on Jimmy Neutron soundtrack
December 25, 2001 - In the USA, the movie Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius was released recently. A version of Kim Wilde's 1981 hit song Kids in America can be found on the soundtrack album, performed by the all-girl-group No Secrets.

It's not the first time Kids in America is covered. There are dozens of cover versions out there, by well-known bands like the Bloodhound Gang, but also lesser known bands like Lawnmower Deth and Euphrasia.
It's not the first time that a cover of Kids in America makes it onto soundtrack album either: in 1995 the Muffs recorded the song for the soundtrack of Clueless, in 1996 it was Fourth Grade Nothing for the soundtrack of Biodome and last year, the track was recorded by Len for the Digimon movie.
