Kim appears in Madonna documentary
July 4, 2001 - Kim Wilde was one of many artists talking about Madonna in a documentary about the pop icon on BBC television on July 4. The programme featured interviews with celebrities such as Britney Spears, John Paul Gaultier, Hear'say and Sinitta.
Kim only appeared one time in the one hour show, saying "as soon as I saw her, I knew this one was going to change everything. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure how I felt about that".
There's Only One Madonna charted the progress of the cultural figurehead over the last decade in a documentary deliberately orientated to British audiences. It looks specifically at how she has influenced our music, fashion, style and attitudes.
The program also follows a groups of avid British Madonna fans as they visit the first show of Madonna's European tour in Spain.
