Kim rocks Brussels

""
December 8, 2001 - On December 7, Kim Wilde did a live performance at the Who's Who's Land in Brussels. During the day, she'd spent some time recording a performance for this year's election of Miss Belgium. Her performance was the first in a series of Europop Follies, four performances in the month of December by artists who achieved their biggest successes in the 1980's.

The night started at 23.15, when people were admitted into the venue. An hour later, the main room was opened, and a disco consisting of mainly 80's music started. Kim started her performance at 1.45, with a set of five songs. The backing tracks were pre-recorded, but Kim sang live.

The songs she performed were Loved, You came, View from a bridge (remix), You keep me hangin' on and Kids in America (remix).

In the audience, fans from The Netherlands, UK, Germany, Belgium and many others were present. Even Wallonia's Minister-president Elio Di Rupo of Belgium was curious to see her performance.

After the performance, it was a quick trip back to a nearby hotel, with a quick goodbye to the fans who were waiting outside. The celebration was short but sweet!
