Kim wins 'Best in show' award at Tatton!
July 20, 2001 - The garden "All about Alice", designed by Kim Wilde and David Fountain, has won the gold and "Best in show" awards during this year's Tatton Flower Show. It's the first time Kim has designed a show garden for such an occasion. Not a bad start!
On July 18, the Tatton Flower Show hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society was opened. The garden which she designed with her friend David Fountain has an "Alice in Wonderland" theme, a garden which you can go underneath, up and down, to and fro and all around.
Undoubtedly, the garden will be featured in the BBC's coverage of the Tatton Flower Show this Sunday on BBC2 (UK), starting 18:30 GMT.
Fans are able to see the garden from Wednesday 18 until Sunday 22 July. More details can be found on the Royal Horticultural Society website.
