New compilation CD - by Universal!

""
February 1, 2001 - Universal Music Group, the company that owns and exploits the back catalogue of MCA Records since the big merger in 1999, has released the first Kim Wilde compilation album since the "Singles Collection", released in France in 1996.

Entitled "You keep me hangin' on", it contains 14 tracks, spanning Kim's recorded work between 1984 (The second time, The Touch and, amazingly, Is it over) and 1995 (Heaven). The early singles such as Kids in America and Cambodia are omitted, because the rights of those recordings are of course owned by EMI.

Is it over is the only track that was never released on single, the other 13 tracks had varying success in Europe and the UK, with the title track being the most successful. Unfortunately, none of the single versions were used on the disc so this is another compilation of album versions fans already have in their collection!
Released on Polydor/Universal, the catalogue number is 013450-2. The CD is only released in Germany as far as I know.

You can find all the factual information on this CD in the discography on this site.
