New track "Loved" on CD-single

December 1, 2001 - The new compilation album "The very best of Kim Wilde", released on Monday, November 5, gets a follow-up. The only new track on the CD is released as a CD-single. The following territories have been confirmed for release: Belgium, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland. It is likely that more territories will be added.

Right now, commercial release of "Loved" has been confirmed and sighted in shops in Belgium and Greece. In Germany, "Loved" will be released commercially on December 3rd.

In the Netherlands, the CDsingle has not been scheduled for release. However, the promotional CDsingle will be distributed to radio stations. A spokesman for EMI Holland said that there was "little point promoting a full-price album when so many mid-price CD's are on the market already". I wonder which record company was responsible for that!

Right now, a promotional CD-single is circulating in the UK and on the European continent. This three track disc contains "Loved" and the full length "Kids in America (D-Bops Bright Lights Mix)" and "View From A Bridge (RAW Remix)". There's also a 12" promo doing the rounds.
