'Kids in America' on GTA soundtrack
November 3, 2002 - Kim Wilde's 1981 hit single "Kids in America" appears on the soundtrack box set for the game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the newest version of the criminally fun computer game.
The soundtrack is made under the theme of being a radio station in Vice City, one of the environments in the game. The box contains seven discs, centered around various themes. Kim appears on a disc containing mainly pop songs from the early 1980's.
One of the other discs also contains the original version of Kim Wilde's 1996 single "Shame" as performed by Evelyn "Champagne" King. A full track listing can be found in the Kim Wilde 'Related' discography on this site. The box set, and the individual discs, can be ordered online from CD-now. Just search for 'Vice city' as the title.
