Kim collaborates with Nena
October 8, 2002 - Earlier reports on KimWilde.com suggested that Kim Wilde would appear at the special jubilee concert of the German artist Nena (best known for her 1983 song "99 luftballons" a.k.a. "99 red balloons") on October 11. There has been some confusion about this, for a while it seemed "unlikely" that Kim would actually appear, but now it seems like Kim may still be able to make it.
When Kim appears, she will be singing one song, namely an English version of Nena's 1984 hit, "Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann" titled "Anyplace, anywhere, anytime". This song was recorded by the duo in September and will appear on Nena's new album "Nena feat. Nena", to be released in Germany on October 28.
The concert will feature other guests including Howard Jones and German top acts Udo Lindenberg, Rosenstolz and Westbam. The event takes place at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt, Germany on October 11th. The concert will also be filmed and recorded for a CD and DVD, to be released shortly after the event.
More information may be found, in German, on www.nena.de.
