Kim joins TV programme with 'Survival' theme
September 24, 2002 - According to the UK magazine OK!, Kim Wilde is to join UK celebrities Richard Blackwood, Tamara Beckwith and ex-Boyzone singer Keith Duffy in a survival-style TV programme. It seems to focus on living healthy under difficult circumstances.
According to the article, "The four celebrities will be made to fast for a week, with only liquids and vitamins keeping them going. A rather bizarre aspect of the expedition is a daily colonic irrigation. This form of detox removes 'waste' from the colon by inserting a tube into the unfortunate celeb's behind and then squirting warm water into the colon to clear out the system."
It is due to be broadcast by Channel Five (UK) this winter, and will be filmed in Thailand.
