KimWilde.com starts RSS Newsfeed
August 27, 2003 - On August 27, 2003, KimWilde.com has started its own RSS newsfeed. RSS is, according to some, 'the next big thing' on the internet. It allows syndication of news as well as an easy way of checking updates of a particular website.
In the case of KimWilde.com, the newsfeed is focusing on the news stories of the website, and not other updates elsewhere on the site.
Internet users that have an RSS reader like Feedreader installed (Download here) will be able to check the latest news from KimWilde.com whenever they are online.
Other websites may use the newsfeed to display the latest news about Kim Wilde, without having to worry about updating this themselves.
KimWilde.com is testing the RSS feed until the end of the year, after which a decision will be made about the future of the service.
