New album watch

Kim has spent a few days writing and recording songs in the last week of September. There are a few songs now that she is satisfied with, but any work on new songs will now probably be halted until after the two Here and Now tours.

It is confirmed that Kim has actually recorded a few demos during the summer. This does not mean that a new album will be released any time soon; it's still very early days.

In an interview in the Evening Chronicle (UK) Kim is reported to be "collecting songs for a new CD". She is quoted saying: "It's going to be a real rock chick album".

Kim performs live at Rock under Broen, a festival in Denmark. During her gig she asked the audience if they would like a new album. The response is of course very positive. It's the first public mention of an album of new work by Kim Wilde in many years.
