Kim-Lian's debut performance as Kim Wilde!

""
November 11, 2004 - Kim-Lian recently stormed the Dutch charts with her cover of Kim Wilde's 'Kids in America'. Few are aware that this is not the first time that she was already into Kim Wilde when she was just a kid herself... and KimWilde.com has the video footage to prove it!

Kim-Lian van der Meij established herself as a professional singer only two years ago, after a few years of presenting TV shows for various programmes on Dutch television. Her actual TV debut took place some eighteen years ago, when she was just six years old. Participating in the Mini Playback Show, a Dutch show in which children imitate their favourite artists, Kim-Lian performed 'You keep me hangin' on' dressed as Kim Wilde. A clip from this performance can be found in the media section of KimWilde.com. It is believed to be a very rare recording, as there have been no references to this performance in any media so far.

Kim-Lian has also been included in the Kim Wilde Encyclopedia, which has been updated today.
