Kim Wilde's Wonderland at Holker Hall
June 14, 2004 - The Garden Festival at Holker Hall was held from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June this year. For this festival Kim has designed a garden in cooperation with Richard Lucas.
The garden was based upon an 'Alice in Wonderland' theme. Some may recall the award-winning garden 'All About Alice' which Kim designed with David Fountain in 2001 for the RHS Tatton Flower Show. This garden differs greatly from that one, but is equally beautiful as the pictures opposite show.
The garden is a 10m circle divided into four quarters. Each quadrant displays a different element of the story: the Mad Hatters Tea Party, the Queen of Hearts, the Chess Match and the Magic Mushroom Garden.
