New 'Kids in America' cover
August 16, 2004 - Kim Wilde's song 'Kids in America' is probably the one track that has been covered the most by other acts through the years. Recently, another cover was added to the impressive list.
Dutch singer, musical star and tv presenter Kim-Lian van der Meij has released her debut album 'Balance' in May. The album was preceded by three hit singles, Teenage Superstar, Hey Boy and Garden of Love. The album also contains the familiar track Kids in America. Besides Holland, the cd has also been released in several Asian and other European countries.
The song has now also been released as the fourth single off the album, featuring the album version and an instrumental version. It is available in shops in the Netherlands from August 16.
