March 3, 2005 - Kim Wilde will appear as a presenter during a concert in Manchester on April 24. During this night, she will not be singing herself. The concert stars celebrities like David Shannon, Bonnie Langford and Joanne Farrell and is organised by Steve Devereaux and Hal Fowler.

In 'Sunday Night at the Manchester Palace' an all star West End Cast and orchestra will perform the greatest songs from the greatest musicals. From 'Okalahoma' to 'The Lion King', from 'West Side Story' to 'Hair', from 'Oliver' to 'The Phantom of the Opera', this extraordinary evening will bring together all your favourite musical moments in one spectacular occasion. The evening will be presented by celebrity hosts including Kim Wilde, Oliver Tobias and Tracie Bennett. The musical event is organised in aid of the charity DebRA. DebRA provides care for people (mostly children) who suffer from EB, a currently incurable skin condition. The money raised will go to funding nurses, a welfare team and research into finding effective treatments. Ticket prices range from £15 to £50 and are available through Ticketmaster.
