Kim's garden wins Gold Medal & Best Courtyard Garden
May 24, 2005 - The Cumbrian Fellside Garden, designed by Kim Wilde and Richard Lucas, has won a gold medal and the title Best Courtyard Garden today. Kim said she was "overwhelmed" by all the reactions from the viewers, who were flocking to see the garden.
Kim said she owed a lot to Richard's amazing expertise. The garden has a very natural atmosphere with a lot of attention to detail. This is exactly why they won the gold medal. Kim and Richard were also responsible for the planting design in the 'Enchanted' garden at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in 2004, which won an RHS silver medal.
