NME cover disc contains 'Kids in America' cover
November 28, 2006 - The Young Knives recently recorded a cover of Kim Wilde's 'Kids in America'. It is available in the UK this week on NME's cover disc.
New Musical Express, the weekly music journal, is featuring a cover cd for three weeks in a row. This week's disc is the second in the series. It is compiled by the Transgressive Records label. A&R's from this label, 19-year-old Toby L and 20-year-old Tim Dellow have compiled the cd, showcasing the best and most innovative labels around.
