Snow Patrol play Ricky Wilde
September 24, 2006 - The cover version of Ricky Wilde's song 'I am an astronaut' (1972) by Snow Patrol can be heard for the first time!
The band recorded their version of the song for 'Colours are Brighter', a twelve track compilation of children's songs recorded by the likes of Belle and Sebastian, Franz Ferdinand, Four Tet, Kathryn Williams and The Divine Comedy. It will be released on Rough Trade Records on October 16, 2006. All the proceeds go to Save The Children.
