Sonic Hub releases debut album
October 20, 2006 - Sonic Hub, the new band co-founded by Kim's brother Rick, is due to release their debut album on October 30. Kim appears on one of the tracks!
Entitled 'Eye of the storm', the album contains a track called 'The Hunt For Zero Point', on which Kim Wilde is doing an opera style vocal. Her husband Hal Fowler is doing voice-over for the tracks 'Fact Destruction' and 'Wolf To The Lamb'.
There's even more family involvement: Kim's sister Roxanne sings on 'Colours' and Rick's daughter Scarlett has done the vocal on 'My Open Mind', a track that has been playing on the band's Myspace page for some time.
The album features further guest vocals from Angie Brown, Martin Fry (ABC), Loretta Heywood and Charlotte Hodson. The first single off the album is 'New man', featuring Martin Fry.
