Vorwerk covers 'Cambodia'
March 8, 2006 - Dutch techno act Vorwerk has released a cd-single with a cover of Kim Wilde's 'Cambodia'. The instrumental cover features hardcore style beats and the well-known melody line of the 1981 classic.
Vorwerk (Real name: Maarten Vorwerk, born April 25, 1980) has been producing tracks since 1998 and has followed an education for audio engineer. At first he made trance records, but after a few years he teamed up with Ruud van IJperen (a.k.a. DJ Ruthless) to make jumpstyle tracks with great succes. They have their own record label called Square Beats, which has released the cd-single. It features both the radio edit and an extended version, plus two original instrumental tracks.
