Fanclub magazines vol. 7 & 8 online!
October 15, 2007 - Wilde Life is putting all the fanclub magazines (1981-1997) online. Today, two more volumes are published: volumes 7 and 8, from 1987/1988 and 1988/1989.
There is a brief period of silence at the beginning of volume 7, when only 'Rockin' around the Christmas tree', Kim's project with Mel Smith provides some Comic Relief. The of course, 'Close' is released and everything goes in high gear. Kim tours Europe with Michael Jackson and has barely any time to devote to the fanclub.
The fanclub, in turn, reduces the size of the magazines from 16 to 12 pages. The photographs are beautiful as ever but there is less content, and it is the first sign that things are about to change in the fanclub organisation...
